Zara Home...I love Zara clothing, kids clothing...so when I found out they had a home line, I was ultra excited!  I find Zara's prices to be fair for fashion trends and they always are fashion forward!

Radiant Orchid in the Home

My girl Organized Chica inspired me to want to do more research on current hot items for the home in this beautiful hot color for 2014!

Pantone's Radiant Orchid!

I don't see myself ever painting a room this color.
Maybe an accent wall of paint, or even a pretty wall paper.
But, I do think its a beautiful color, and I would love to bring it in my home as an accent color.

If you have this simmering in your home on a cold fall day, it makes your home smell so good.  As well as it serves as a delicious warm drink for everyone to enjoy.

A Houndstooth coat with an adorable jeweled collar



A fall trend for 2013 is feminine menswear look with suits and outerwear - houndstooth, and plaids are going to be seen a lot this fall/winter.  I love this adorable number from J.Crew...the jeweled collar makes it that much more girly!

Fall flowers - how breathtaking are these arrangements by Eric Buterbaugh, an LA flower designer, stunning! What an inspiration to make our homes look cozier and happier? I may have to stop at the florist shop today.

Set the mood with candles.  They provide warmth, light, and ambiance.  We can never have enough of these, whether you prefer a specific brand or scent, candles give your home an inviting glow.

Welcome to our new adventure

Welcome and Bienvenidos!   

We are so excited to finally start blogging!!

Let us begin by telling you our names – Stylish Mama is Kim and Organized Chica is Marilyn.

We are both 30 something Latinas in the  New England region.  We have a passion and love for many girly things!  In our blog you will find topics on fashion, organization, food, shopping, make-up, home decorating and much more. 

As you start to read our blog, you will notice we will be featuring different topics that we have strengths in or enjoy just talking about.  These entries will either be individual or a joint entry if we worked on something together.  Whoever wrote it - you will see our names posted after the entry– in hoping you will get a sense of our individual style and personality!

We would like to state that we are not being sponsored by any brand or company that we will be featuring in our blog, unless specified otherwise.  We will not stand behind a product or service that we do not believe in.
