Put some Spring into your Step!

March 17, 2014

What little girl doesn't grow up dreaming of being a fashion designer?
Or a clothes/shoes buyer?
Ok, maybe that was just my dream.
But I bet most of us would love to design a pair of shoes that we could proudly wear!

I am loving how Attilio Giusti Leombruni has flats you can design on your own!  If simply go to Nordstroms Website you can follow the simple steps on designing your own adorable AGL Flats!

The Color Combos are endless!

Here are a couple I came up with!

You should give it a try!  It's fun and kind of made me feel like a kid again...pretending and designing.

Scenes from my weekend:

Dani was invited to a bouncy house party, and I learned once again that my daughter is not a risk taker.  Her cousins were running from one bouncy house to another, going up and down the big slides, backwards and forwards...and my daughter was perfectly content bouncing up and down in the same one with a red ball!

Here is a selfie with my happy bouncy girl! (have you heard that new selfie song? that's all I can think of now when I take one, "wait, first let me take a selfie!")

Friends of ours are visiting and they have a 3 year old boy who my daughter adores.  So she got dressed up for a lunch date we had at Bertucci's.  She packed her Olivia lunch box with all her favorite toys.

I am trying to try new wines and dabble with different kinds as I can sometimes get stuck with my go to Cabernet Sauvignon.
This weekend I tried Cupcake Angel Food wine.

This is a Chardonnay blend that crazily enough kind of tastes like Angel Food cake, just not as sweet.  Huge hints of vanilla and granny smith apples. I paired it with some Irish cheddar cheese, and I was really enjoying the contrast of flavors.  I am thinking this will be great chilled in the summer with some fresh picked strawberries.  I will gladly test that out and get back to you with the results!  :)

Happy Monday Y'all!

5 Fab Friday

Things we are loving/wanting/dreaming of on this Friday

Stylish Mama:

When I saw this at the Gap, I had to snag it.  Even though we are still getting snow here in New England!  I can't wait to put this on my daughter.  Its 100% cotton which makes it the perfect light weight dress for summer time.  When I showed her the dress she loved it...my little animal lover.  The Gap is having a great sale right now 30% off.

The husband had a corporate event in Boston yesterday and he was nice enough to bring me back some goodies.  One of the things he brought home was this Max Brenner Milk Chocolate Bar with these amazing pieces of caramel and flecks of sea salt.  Wow. What a chocolate bar!  If any of you are in the Boston or NYC area and get a chance to stop in - try one of these!

I'm not too much of a sneaker person so if I'm going to have a pair, why not make sure they look cute.  I came across the NIKE ID, where you get to choose the colors you want on your sneakers.  Now depending on your style, you can create some colorful sneakers. I'm very plane Jane and stick to my black color with a touch of gray and blue.  This would be a nice personalized gift to someone.  To design your own, visit NikeID

If you're a Target fan like we are, I'm sure you have seen their Threshold Poufs in many colors.  They have been a big hit.  It's an instant extra sit or it can act as a table.  Love the patters and they are quite comfy, yes I tested them out at the store, who doesn't? They also have the outdoor poufs now for the warmer weather.  Do you like them?

Pack N' Pull Caddy from Thirty-One Gifts

March 13, 2014

Last week I posted on our Instagram account an image of the shipment box that my thirty-one order came in and let me tell you that I am loving this new addition.

It's the Pack N' Pull Caddy that can be used in so many ways.  Personally its my Tissue & Trash caddy for my car.  I always have a box of tissues in my car floating around and when I need it, I can't reach it.  So when I saw this caddy in person I knew I wanted it as part of my car organization.

I didn't get mine embroidered because I have a habit of changing things around so I didn't want to commit to only using it for solely one purpose.  I did line my "trash" section with a small plastic bag to prevent the caddy from getting dirty. It also has two side mesh pockets for you to store things away in, perfect for a bottle of water.

Over the weekend I was able to show close friends my new caddy and they liked it too.  They noticed that the product is very well made and the material can withstand the use.

I am one happy thirty-one caddy owner!!!

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I highly suggest this product to everyone! Whether you want to use it as I do in the car for Tissues & Trash or Wipes & Diapers, it's your call but you will not regret it.  I love how the color matches the interior of my car too.

Don't forget that you can still place your order directly with Jean from thirty-one gifts, all her info is in our Thirty-One Gifts Giveaway post.

Also, don't forget to sign up for the Giveaway on a Thermal Lunch Bag.  Last day is Friday!

Happy Organizing,

OKBG - never got the memo!

March 10, 2014

So here I am shopping at the local outlets in my area when I stumbled upon the cutest clothes for toddlers...
I couldn't believe I was standing in the middle of OshKosh B'Gosh.  Not to sound harsh, but I only thought Oshkosh was your go to for overall's.  I have never once put my daughter in a pair. (not that I don't think they are cute, just not my style) So I never thought to go inside a store that to my previous knowledge only specialized in overalls.  But now I know there is so much more...and such adorable things!  I wanted to share with you some of the things that caught my eye.  I have to say, I am going back there to do some spring and summer shopping for her soon!

For Toddler Girls:

For Toddler Boys:

What did you think?  Cute stuff, right?  I love the fact that you can put a whole outfit together with their clothing line.  Super cute, from accessories, to the outfit, to the shoes!

Happy Shopping, and Happy Monday!

P.S. Don't forget to sign up for our 31 Gifts Giveaway!  Its such a cute lunch tote, I kind of want one myself...so stylish!
